Today San Gimignano is an ancient Village on the top of hill considered one of the most beautifull village in Tuscany. Called "the Manatthan of Middle Ages" for the big numbers of Towers which in the past have been built (there were 72 towers), just now counts 14 towers maintained in perfect state.
