One of our best seller in the fantastic Tuscan’s hills. We will drive by a full optional vehicle (minivan or car) into the countryside, where we will arrive to the winery. The owner or a qualificated guided, will introduce you inside the life to farm and during the visit, you will learn about the red and white wine produced here.

The kind owner will share with you his passion for a way to produce wine and extra-virgin olive oil that looks back in time: the so-called biodynamic agriculture.

Then you will can visit the "cantina" where the wine is aged and learn about the aging process before to have a tasting of their wines. 

You will learn about their current organic winemaking and have a visit to the cantina and in some seasons be able to walk out into the vineyard and see the grapes growing on the vines.

The tour will start the with visit a typical medieval village placed on the hill. Here you can see the life in the middle of a medieval charming countryside.

Then, you'll reach the cellar where the owner or a qualified guided, will introduce you inside the life to the place and during the visit, an ancient cellar that nowadays is the unique real wine museum on the hills made in the 20th century.

After the visit, in a conmfortable atmosphere in the ancient big cellar, you will have the opportunity to taste a selected range of wine paired with selected extra virgin olive oil with bread baked in a wood oven. 

The wines of this area are based on Sangiovese and Trebbiano Toscano of the red and white wines respectively.

The DOC covers an eclectic selection of wines made from two of the region's favorite grapes and a host of less 'Tuscan' varieties.

We will explain how to taste a Chianti wine, a Chianti reserve, what to expect from a Super Tuscan wine and especially what does it mean; we will talk about the history of Chianti, which had already started in 900 b.c. by the Etruscans population.

Regular itinerary:

• 9.30 am We start our wine tasting tour and we move to the tuscan countryside, you will hear about the first clarification on italian wine regulation with its Docg, Doc, Igt wines.
• Once you get to the first worthy winery you will have the opportunity to be welcomed by the owner that will show you with passion the vineyards, the aging cellar describing each bottle of wine you are going to taste: Chianti wine, Chianti Riserva, Super Tuscan wine or sometimes one Chianti wine. There will be extra virgine olive oil as well.
• Lunch  is included so you will taste with different wine also local products
• After lunch you will visit the second family winery, we head to the third boutique winery for your wine experience.
• Return to your hotel/accommodation about 5.00pm.
